I’m very excited to be featured in the Out Magazine arts section this month, along with a slideshow of works by amazing artists and photographers I’ve had the pleasure of working with over the past 12 months:
Including works by Lucas Ferrier, John MacConnell, Jordan Mejias, Rick Day, and many others, Out makes mention of my recent portrait sitting with the inimitable art collector and sensualist Charles Leslie, for “The Art of Looking,” a fabulous retrospective coffee table book showcasing the incredible collection of gay art (and art by gay artists) housed and celebrated by Leslie.
Also mentioned is the “Jealous” music video from my 2013 album, Nova. Keep your eyes peeled for my upcoming summer release, Supernova — a fabulous remix edition of Nova, to be accompanied by a brand new music video by brothers Kyle and Brendan Ranson-Walsh!
I recently had the pleasure of working with the talented Erik Carter on a collection of images for his Nocturne series. Nocturne focusses on themes of late-night hunger and utilizes the lighting and backdrop of the subject’s own home — Erik and I had a great time shooting, and I’m really excited to share the results of en evening well-spent.
I recently had the pleasure of working with legendary NYC-based fashion photographer, Rick Day. Known for his celebration of the male form, Rick has worked for Elle, Italian Vogue, DNA Magazine, and GQ (among many others), and has several brilliant books published.
