Conceived and created with Benjamin Ickies (House of Yes, This Ambitious Orchestra), “The Tease” will be performed live in The Gallery at Le Poisson Rouge, alongside re-imagined works by Weimar-era composers, and modern-day artists alike, including: Friedrich Hollaender, Björk, the Supremes, Kylie Minogue, Hanns Eisler, and myriad glittering others. Featuring a full band accompaniment, Award-winning Australian performer Kim Smith charts a dark and whimsical path through a ruined, musical landscape of disfigured pop and peculiar period treasures with his debut cabaret EP recording (available in physical format post-show!).

Just in time for Halloween, we have let loose this seasonally appropriate, poptastic, dance-horror teaser of “Zombiez,” one of the tracks from my secret pop project! Remixed by Ricardo Autobahn (Night of the Living Dead Radio Edit), Zombiez has been given a classic horror setting, complete with the raging undead and hapless, tumbling maidens!
